St. Mary the Protectress Syriac Orthodox Community is located in Plymouth, Indiana. We are a monastic community and intentional Orthodox Christian community. We believe that you can pray to end hunger, but it is not a true prayer unless you also feed those who are hungry. We seek to live the example of Christ and serve all our neighbors. We are a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic worshiping community. Services are in English.

[Saint-george-taybeh] thank you
Dear Friends of Saint George Taybeh,
Christ is in our Midst,
Just a short note to say thank you very much for the prayers and the good wishes! We have completed another successful village festival with over ten thousand people coming into Taybeh some as far away as Japan and the band from Greece was just great! As it is an Oktoberfest tradition, the Consul General of the United States in Jerusalem also attended the opening celebration with over fifteen ambassadors and five ministers from the Palestinian Parliament.
with sincere appreciation for your prayers,
May glory be God for all things!
maria
