This morning my daughter, Alda, officially became an Ensign in the United States Navy. So here we are in Newport, Rhode Island. Here are some photographs from this mornings ceremony. For those who did not notice from yesterday, proud father posting, being here in Newport is the reason why there have been no services or programs since Wednesday of this week, and why there will be no service this Sunday.
