It is with immense pleasure we extent our sincere wishes to our Patriarch His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas, on HH's birthday. Today is the 76th birthday of the Patriarch, who is the longest reigning Patriarch in the recently history of the Holy Syriac Orthodox Church. His Holiness visited Malankara four times after being ordained as the Patriarch of Anthioc & All the East, by the then Catholicose of the East Aboon Mor Baselius Poulose II. We all join hands to pray for the health and long life of our beloved Patriarch.
St. Mary the Protectress Syriac Orthodox Community is located in Plymouth, Indiana. We are a monastic community and intentional Orthodox Christian community. We believe that you can pray to end hunger, but it is not a true prayer unless you also feed those who are hungry. We seek to live the example of Christ and serve all our neighbors. We are a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic worshiping community. Services are in English.

May God give his Holiness long life, good health and guidance of the Holy spirit to lead His church towards further glory.
His holiness can be called as the ' 21 - aam noottandile suriyani sabhayude shilpi'. His far-sightedness has made the Syrian orthodox church well established in different parts of the world with dioceses, young and energetic bishops, monks and monastries. This is the golden age of the syrian orthodox church and we are fortunate to be a part of this.
