This was the question asked by the jailer to St. Paul. A similar question was also asked of St. Peter. This and several other questions are answered by the Very Rev. Dr. Curian Kaniyamparanbil Corespiscopa. He is a great scholar of the Syriac Orthodox Church in India. This book is made as a series of questions and answers. It shows the importance of using the Peshitho Bible or the ancient Syriac Bible instead of the Bibles available today by other churches. It was translated by Paul Philipose.
A copy of this book was uploaded onto the Yahoo Discussion group of the Mor Gregorios Community Center and St. Mary the Protectress Syriac Orthodox Church. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/newpecherska/files/ It is in PDF format.
St. Mary the Protectress Syriac Orthodox Community is located in Plymouth, Indiana. We are a monastic community and intentional Orthodox Christian community. We believe that you can pray to end hunger, but it is not a true prayer unless you also feed those who are hungry. We seek to live the example of Christ and serve all our neighbors. We are a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic worshiping community. Services are in English.
