There are two positions on Evolution in the Orthodox church; many among those who converted from radical Protestant groups still adhere to creationism, but a prevailing opinion supports evolution. Among those who have written on this are Frs Gregory Hallam and Andrei Kureav. You can refer to their articles (both titled "Orthodoxy and Creationism") online.
His Excellency, the Most Reverend Metropolitan Kallistos Ware (b. 1934) is a titular metropolitan of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople in Great Britain. From 1966-2001, he was Spalding Lecturer of Eastern Orthodox Studies at Oxford University, and has authored numerous books and articles on the Orthodox Christian faith. He addresses this issue in this video.
