Father Theodosius continues his talk, at Monday's afternoon service, on the wise woman who gave away the priceless stone she found only to have it returned having the person who she gave it to want an even more priceless gift. Father Theodosius shares an email he received from some one who viewed the first video talk who says that we tend to give what we not longer want. Father asks why is it that while we have been given a priceless gift by God, we give to our brothers and sisters that which is the less of value to us.

We invite you to watch it. If you want to see the real thing, which is much better, please join us for services on Sunday starting at 10 am. And at that time we have some of Father Theodosius’ mother’s awesome soup and homemade bread to share with you also.
St. Mary the Protectress Syriac Orthodox Community is located in Plymouth, Indiana. We are a monastic community and intentional Orthodox Christian community. We believe that you can pray to end hunger, but it is not a true prayer unless you also feed those who are hungry. We seek to live the example of Christ and serve all our neighbors. We are a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic worshiping community. Services are in English.
