Today when we arrived at the Mor Gregorios Community Center and St. Mary the Protectress Orthodox Church, we discovered a package of several items waiting for us at the door. The package contained several things we had been praying that God would help us find for our community center programs. There was no name of who they were from. So to the unknown person who wanted to make a difference in the lives of their friends and neighbors, we say thank you. And we will add this unknown person to our prayers for we know that God Himself knows the name of this person.
You can also make a difference in the lives of your friends and neighbors. To discover how email us at monastery@synesius.com or call the community center and church at 574-540-2048. Are you making a difference today? Will you make a difference tomorrow?
And for this unknown person and all the others who are helping us make a difference, we have this video of the Christian Fundamental Baptist Church, The Church of the Living God, Inc. Nagbacalan, Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines singing Mose Hogan's "I want to thank you Lord."
St. Mary the Protectress Syriac Orthodox Community is located in Plymouth, Indiana. We are a monastic community and intentional Orthodox Christian community. We believe that you can pray to end hunger, but it is not a true prayer unless you also feed those who are hungry. We seek to live the example of Christ and serve all our neighbors. We are a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic worshiping community. Services are in English.
