"Remember God in everything. Let no one grieve becasue if you. Never let go an opportunity to do something good. Only those thinks will remain with you till the end." so says Mor Gregorios.
We hope you are keeping the work of the Mor Gregorios Community Center and those served in your prayers. Prayers are needed.
Prayers seem to be the only thing keeping the electricity on at the center, and the only thing keeping the high speed internet on. Without electricity and with the internet connection, there is no employment program. And right now, without your prayers, there are neither.
We need your prayers and we need your help. To discover how you can make a difference in the lives of your friends and neighbours, email the center at monastery@synesius.com or call us at 574-540-2048.
We believe in prayer. And we are always reminded of what Mor Gregorios said: "Prayer is the inspiration of childhood, the refuge of yourh and peace during old age."
St. Mary the Protectress Syriac Orthodox Community is located in Plymouth, Indiana. We are a monastic community and intentional Orthodox Christian community. We believe that you can pray to end hunger, but it is not a true prayer unless you also feed those who are hungry. We seek to live the example of Christ and serve all our neighbors. We are a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic worshiping community. Services are in English.
