"If man does not raise his hands in prayer for himself and for the sake if his people, even after knowing God, how can we say man is better than animals who are not wise and cannot think about their future?" so writes Mor Gregorios.
The Community Center of Mor Gregorios at St. Mary the Protectress Orthodox Church invite you to join us during the week at noon when we raise our voices in praise and thanksgiving to our Lord. We continue to pray for peace and healing. Alson the Holy Qurbana is celebrated every Sunday starting at 10 am. We are located at 1000 South Michigan Street in Plymouth, Indiana.
And join us on Saturday, April 4, 2009, for the dedication of the center. All the computers used for the employment program will also be blessed.
St. Mary the Protectress Syriac Orthodox Community is located in Plymouth, Indiana. We are a monastic community and intentional Orthodox Christian community. We believe that you can pray to end hunger, but it is not a true prayer unless you also feed those who are hungry. We seek to live the example of Christ and serve all our neighbors. We are a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic worshiping community. Services are in English.
